Colin 'Joe' Millar. Joe joined the RNLI in 1991 and became coxswain in 2002. He says that he values the training and skills that the RNLI have taught him. These skills enable him to help others that may be in danger

Brian has been with Troon RNLI since 1992. He has been known to deliver boats to the Mediterranean, build houses, fit central heating systems and teach boat owners how to sail.

Ollie has been a member of Troon RNLI for 12 years.
Gary who by day is an Air Traffic Controller joined the Crew in 1989
A Builder in the parish. Believed to know Noah personally and had a hand in building the 'Ark'. Walter joined the 'boat' in 1994. His reason.."so I can get out of the house quickly without question".
Andrew works for the government. Special agent no 006.
A marine scientist often seen loitering around sewage outfalls. Signed up in 2002 when 'City of Glasgow' was on station. An English girl who is at her happiest with salt on her face.
'Vince' joined the crew in 2003.. He says he gets personal satisfaction of being able to help people in trouble at sea. He is a Schools Development Officer in his 'Day Job', and has the responsibility of running the 'Duke of Edinburgh's Award' programme..
When not on holiday, John is a process operator for Glaxosmithkline. He joined Troon RNLI in 2003.
Peter is semi-retired after 22 years in the Royal Navy and 15 years as a lecturer. He has been with the RNLI for three years and enjoys the feeling of being part of a team with the same goals in mind.
Simon is a captain in the Merchant Navy. Join the team in 2007. He says it gives him a chance to see things from the other side.
Kate works with the Clyde Coastguard. Kate loves the rush of adrenaline every time the "pager goes off". She has been with the team since 2007 and "enjoys the chance to be part of a team trained to do some amazing things".
